Founder & President
Jean Raymond is a graduate from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales at the University of Montreal.
He began his career in 1976 and has been working as an executive recruiter for 30 years. Prior to establishing his private practice, he held the position of Managing Director for 8 years and was responsible for operations in Quebec for an executive recruiting firm of international renown and also one of the largest in Canada.
His private practice is comprised of research services for Senior Executives, Board Members as well as consultations in matters of corporate governance. Mr. Raymond has advised businesses in both the private and public sectors as well as institutions of higher education. His assignments have been based mainly in North America and Europe.
His extensive knowledge of the recruitment industry combined with a comprehensive network of contacts help to provide access to the best sources for potential candidates, as well as accelerate the search process and consequently reduce costs to the client. Jean Raymond has earned respect in his field by providing exceptional service and impressive results.
As a result, he sits on the Disciplinary Board of the Administrateur agrée du Québec and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Within EMA Partners International, he is the Chairman for the Americas and sits on the Executive Committee as VP Partner Development.
Equally at ease in English and French, Jean Raymond has been a guest speaker at a variety of functions. He is active in the community as well as in professional circles.
Brigitte de Champlain
Brigitte de Champlain earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Université du Québec à Rimouski.
Known for her commitment to performance, Brigitte has over 20 years of tangible achievements behind her with leading North American and European organizations as a senior manager, board member and expert consultant for strategic planning, development and restructuring projects.
Her business projects have led to her develop strong skills in assessing growth opportunities, improving performance and translating a vision into action, as well as managing and motivating hundreds of individuals in contexts of change management or continuous improvement.
Her skills are based on business strategy, operations management and planning, as well as marketing, sales and distribution management, not to mention an in-depth knowledge of the client experience. However, Brigitte knows that human capital is a key factor in the success of any company. She understands that selecting the right resources, motivating them by defining clear objectives and valuing their talent accelerates the implementation of action plans and delivery of a company’s strategic orientations.
Brigitte’s applied expertise as an executive and her knowledge of the business world allow her to align search strategies more closely with market realities and the contexts specific to each client, while making it easier to gauge the relevance of a candidate’s professional background and profile in terms of the identified requirements and the new challenge at hand.
Alexandre Raymond completed his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations at l’Université de Montréal.
He began a challenging career in Strategic Human Resources implementation and SAP. His project and consulting experience have allowed him to develop strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. His ability to adapt to different working environments has increased his interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure settings.
Alexandre’s knowledge of strategy allows him to approach business opportunities and relations, at both regional and international levels, with presence and leadership.
Furthermore, in the context of project and program deliveries, he is adept in business development, planning, business process optimization and systems technology.
Alexandre has long demonstrated an interest in community and charity work, and continues to be an active member in several organizations.
Lily Serreau completed her Business Bachelor's degree at the University of Montreal Business School 'HEC Montréal' and at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada.
She began her career in Project Management in Vancouver and then moved to Executive Recruitment for EMA Partners Montreal-Raymond Executive Search.
Her consulting experience has allowed her to develop strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. She also leverages her expertise to create effective search strategies at both regional and internationals levels, and across industries, to identify best-of-class candidates in the areas of business development, planning, business process optimization and systems technology.
Lily has more than 7 years of experience in philanthropy as a business volunteer and former Communications Manager for various organizations in Canada.
Liza Monahan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
Liza has more than 13 years of experience in the recruitment and human resources fields. Over the years, she has participated in both executive and generalist recruitment. She has been fortunate to support clients working in both multinationals and SMEs, in both the private sector and the public sector. Sourcing, head hunting, management coaching and strategic wokrforce planning are just a few of the strings in her bow. Having worked in various sectors has also allowed her to acquire a variety of expertise.
Her listening skills, her ability to adapt quickly and her determintion to build lasting relationships, allow her to offer concrete solutions tailored to the needs of each client. Transparency is at the heart of her actions and it is important for her to add value to her partnerhsips.
